SMS Gateway with an Arduino, the Ethernet shield and the GSM Playground shield

1 Idea

There is remarkably little on the web on the attempt to build a Web enabled SMS server that just consumes a few milliamperes by using just a microcontroller.

The Arduino, together with the Ethernet shield and the GSM Playground from HW Kitchen will make up a fantastic project that can offer a standardized interface to the LAN on the one hand and service outgoing SMS requests on the other.

I have now set up such a device and I intend to describe it on the following page.
