Yeah, I just bought a pair of 1 m diameter parabolic dishes. That will make not only 18 dBi but something around 22 dBi on each side. And I want to place the Foneras directly in the focus of the dishes. So no cabling at all! Let's see how optimized I can get it. So the entire signal will be around
18 dBm + 22 dBi (- no further cable loss) = 40 dBi
That will equal about 3000 milliwatts transmission power omnidirectional but with pinpoint reception selectivity. Let's see how far we get.
