EchoLinux4Debian

Here are the long desired packages of EchoLinux for Debian and Ubuntu. The package contains three programs:

• echoaudio
• echogui
• echolinux

The programs go into the /usr/local/bin directory. When you start /usr/local/bin/echogui, you should have a file

$HOME/.echoLinux/userdata.txt

which should have the following format:

Callsign
Your Name
Your Location
Your Echolink-Password

It may be advisable to download the source package from http://cqinet.sourceforge.net/ and read the README file.
