1 Finished Projects
1.1 Building a Linux Ubuntu package of EchoLinux
Status: finished
I have created a Ubuntu / Debian package of the EchoLinux programs.
1.2 Setting up my TS-790A for Packet Radio
Status: ready
The TS-790A makes a very good packet radio TRX. I want to use it as such.
2 Ongoing Projects
2.1 Tests and operational report of a GAP Titan
Status: ongoing
The GAP Titan is a new antenna for me. I have not yet collected sufficient experiences with it. The sales documents seem very promising, but you'll find according reports here in the next weeks.
3 Planned Projects
3.1 Transmission of DRM signals on Amateur Radio Frequencies
Status: planned
I intend to demonstrate that it is possible for a HAM operator to produce a usable DRM signal. See here: Digital Radio Mondiale
3.2 Receiving DRM signals with the TS-930S
Status: planned
The TS-930S has a 100 KHz ZF which is meant to feed a band scope. This means it must be broad enough to provide a good capture for the 9 KHz broad DRM signal. I intend to construct a down converter to 12 KHz,in order to feed the NF signal into a soundcard and to decode it there.
3.3 WLAN and Amateur Radio
Status: planned
I intend to do some rangeing experiments with 2.4 GHz, since some WLAN channels reside within amateur frequencies. See here: WLAN and Amateur Radio
3.4 Android - Hacking my Cellphone
Status: planned
