1 The Power Amplifier's history

Yes, I got one.

I am happy to have received a Kilowatt PA as a gift. Thanks to Gerhard DL2HN, who built it himself.

It is currently under review and repair by my friend Bernd DJ6PA, whose hobby is - given the callsign guess what - Power Amplifiers. There are few minor curcuits that are broken and need repair. Also it used to have a slight tendency to oscillate, and Bernd is currently fixing this.

But I don't want to say that it is a bad PA. No, the opposite is the case. It's very solidly built, along all electrical professional standards. Look at the pictures...
